5:30 – 6:30 p.m. Children ages 5 – 11 decorate the downtown sidewalks with their artwork. Everyone goes home with a prize. Sponsored by Canaan Child Care Center.

Hot Dog Eating Contest
6:30 – 7:00 p.m. See how many hot dogs you can eat in 5 minutes. Children ages 8 – 11 and 12 – 15. The one to eat the most hotdogs wins a prize. Sponsored by the Snack Shack.
- Rebuild Canaan Union Station
7:00 – 8:00 p.m. The Connecticut Railroad Historical Association will be having an Auction . First Selectman Douglas E. Humes, Jr. and State Representative George Wilbur will be the auctioneers. The NITECAPS will perform from 6:00 –7:00p.m. and again after the auction from 8: 00-9:00p.m.. Bring your chair and enjoy the music.
